See corresponence of Thomas BAINBRIDGE, who was a witness at the wedding and supposedly also sailed with Howard's Party.

The Settle Handbook says that a child, Sarah, was born at sea in 1820. The Death Notice (Cape Archives) for Sarah gives her father as Thomas but the dates otherwise fit.
