Fotos van Grafstene

Danksy die waardevolle bydraes van lede en ander bydraers wie so vrywillig hul tyd afgestaan het - wie nie net bereid was om hul fotos nie maar ook hul tyd by te dra - het eGGSA nou as deel van ons Aflaaibilbioteek fotos en inskripsies van 'n groot aantal grafstene in verskeie Suid-Afrikaanse begraafplase.

Gail Röthlin in Switzerland is die leier van hierdie fase van die projek, wat ten doel het om die sowat 25,000 fotos wat Kobus Snyman en ander mense goedgunstiglik beskikbaar gestel het, te indekseer. Teen die einde van 2006 was reeds meer as 9000 grafstene benoem en bygevoeg by dié wat reeds op die webblad beskikbaar was.

Die proses is eintlik baie eenvoudig en dit gaan sommer gou om 'n foto so te benoem, so mens hoef nie lang periodes aan die taak af te staan nie.
