Western Cape, STELLENBOSCH district, Meerlust, farm cemetery
Meerlust is one of the oldest wine farms in the Cape. Simon van der Stel, Governor of the Cape, first gave the farm to Henning Husing in 1693.
Johannes Myburgh bought the farm in January 1757. The farm is a National Monument and still belongs to the Myburgh family.
