Begrafnis: Van die dogtertjie van Anna Scheepers van die Louis Trichardttrek. Die plek is sowat 4km wes van die huidige Louis Trichardt dorp.
Funeral in the wilderness. A plain wooden coffin is lowered into the red earth. One can see the sadness in the posture of the little boy on the right. One can almost feel the need to still be on the lookout for an attack, while shouldering the sadness of death.
