Richard HARVEY, widower, married Sarah WILLS, widow on 1 May 1815 in St.Leonard's, Shoreditch.

According to the will of Sarah HARVEY (previously WILLS, maiden name CUMMINS) her children were Sarah and Mary Ann, born WILLS (Elizabeth presumably pre-deceased her) and Job, Ruth and John, born HARVEY. Sarah's death notice states that she was born in “Culhampton, near Exeter, Devon”.

Bizarrely Richard HARVEY and Sarah WILLS appear to have married twice. The signature of Richard in 1817 appears identical to the one in 1815.

Richard HARVEY, widower, married Sarah WILLS (marital status not given) on 21 April 1817 in Hornsey, Middlesex.

Baptisms of children of Arthur and Sarah WILLS (shown with surname HARVEY in The Settler Handbook)

Sarah, daughter of Arthur and Sarah WILLS baptised 26 December 1804 in St.Mary Mounthaw (born 23 November)

Elizabeth, daughter of Arthur and Sarah WILLS baptised 29 March 1807 in St.Mary Magdalene, Fish Street (born 22 October 1806)

Mary Ann, daughter of Arthur and Sarah WILLS baptised 6 November 1808 in All Hallows, Tottenham (born 28 September)

The three children of Richard and Sarah, Job, Ruth and John, were probably baptised in Enfield. Ruth's death notice says she was born in Enfield, Middlesex, and Richard HARVEY originally applied to join the emigration scheme in August 1819, writing from Parsonage Lane, Enfield. See correspondence.
