St.Mary le Port Church, Castle Park. The church was bombed in WW2, only the 15th century tower remaining. William SHEPSTONE and Elizabeth BROOKS were married in this church, and Elizabeth's father, George BROOKS, married his second wife, Mary EVANS, here. Henry WARNER lived in nearby Mary Port Street.
