Edinburgh Castle, dominating the skyline of the city. John Christopher FRANZ was in the 1st Battalion of the Royal Scots, stationed at Edinburgh Castle, and Alexander BIGGAR was stationed here when his son Robert was baptised 1in 1812. Thomas PRINGLE lived in Edinburgh, and according to his Death Notice William CHADWICK was born in the city.
