St.Andrew Undershaft in St.Mary Axe, now totally dwarfed by "The Gherkin" tower block. James Edward FORD was baptised in this church and Samuel ROWE married Sarah SOUTH here. Alexander BIGGAR was living at 27 St.Mary Axe in 1819 when he wrote his correspondence with the Colonial Office.
