St.Mary's is situated on High Pavement and was in the heart of the historic Lace Market district of Nottingham. John BRADFIELD and Mary DENNIS were married in St.Mary's, as were William ELLIOTT and Sarah DARKER (parents of the settler brothers William and Mark ELLIOTT), Joseph HOOK and Lucy SANSOM (parents of George SANSOM, aka HOOK), William MEATS and Mary REDGATE (parents of the settler William MEATS), Thomas Henry TARR and Ann RADFORD and James WRIGHT and Jane WHITTLE (parents of the settler brothers William and Joseph WRIGHT). Two sons of Thomas and Jane BILLSON were baptised in this church, as were eight children of John and Mary BRADFIELD, three children of Thomas CALTON, Samuel JACKSON, four children of Thomas and Ann TARR, Thomas TIMMS, and six children of Thomas TIMMS and Elizabeth HOLT.
